Baby pigs

Week old baby pigs out running around on the 60 degree late fall day.
Momma is always close by to make sure her babies are safe.
What a cute little red one.
That same day another sow had 15 live pigs.  This was one ice cold so in the house it came to get warmed up and a full belly.
Attempting to feed it some calf milk replacer, but it is still to cold to drink.
Snuggling with the baby pig in the chair.
After we got it's temperature up, it finally drank a little.  Still not drinking like it should.
After gaining some energy and exploring around on the floor it crawled into Derick's sweatshirt.
Sniffing his hand and wondering "Are you my Mommy"
Now a week later all the sows have pigged.  We have 40 baby pigs running around.  Some of the pigs from the large litters sometimes drink from the Momma's with only 4 or 6 baby pigs.

Christmas card attempts

Bringing in the cedar tree from the fence row.    The sad little tree looks so brown.

When Evan gets concerned he always plays with his fingers.  Maggie is running around the yard like a crazy dog and he is worried she might jump on him.

Arm him with his tricycle and he now has protection.  If she gets close I will just try to run her over.  Maggie thinks it's a fun game of tag and loves it.
Evan has clocked a lot of hours on last year's Christmas present.
Hard to believe, but his legs couldn't reach the pedals until summer.
All done. Time to drag the tree away to the burn pile.

Oh, to be 2 Again.

Nap time on a rainy fall day.
My little helper is always ready to lend a hand.  "Me do it" is a common phrase.
Do they even look like sugar cookies?
Changing the oil in Mom's car is a family affair.

Who needs toys when you have a laundry basket and a knitting needle.  Evan is marching through the house saying bang, bang, bang.  Our house is never quite.
Evan discovered some stickers while Mom was making pies for Thanksgiving.  Every time he added a sticker he would say "diaper Teddy Bear pooped."  I think he was recreating the mess he had in his underwear the day before.  At least it kept him entertained for a few minutes.
